ABOUT
Daylesford Museum is one of the largest regional museums in Victoria. It houses a very large collection of historical, photographs, memorabilia and artefacts (mostly sourced locally) which are displayed in the old School of Mines and Technical School building and yard. An important Indigenous Collection is also on display together with and extensive collection of early mining relics, records and information. The Museum has extensive archival resources which are accessible for research by researchers, genealogists and those interested in discovering more about their family history. An experienced team of researchers assists with in person, local, Australian and international enquiries.
