The Dunkeld Museum is a social history collection from the area which encompasses Dunkeld, Victoria Valley, Mirranatwa, Croxton East and Moutajup. It also covers the Soldier Settlement area of Mount Sturgeon. Our collection covers the fine wool industry which was a major focus of the area for many years, our aboriginal heritage, Major Mitchell's exploration of the district, bee keeping as an industry, the local baking industry and a variety of changes in domestic and community focused clubs and events. The collection ranges from the early 1850's to present day. We also hold in excess of 2500 photographs.
