ABOUT
The Museum is located inside the original Bank of New South Wales building c.1856. The banking chamber is now used as a temporary exhibition space and upstairs is a re-created Managers' quarters from the gold rush era of 1856-1870. The Museum reflects European development during the height of the gold rush. Outdoor exhibits include original bluestone stables, servant's kitchen, laundry, and Theaden Cottage. The Museum collection includes a wide variety of carriages and historical agricultural equipment.
