The Woady Yaloak Historical Society is a both a local and family history organization with a Museum in the Historic Police Precinct in Smythesdale. Our area of interest is the goldfields towns surrounding the Woady Yaloak Creek from Haddon to Springdallah. Our Mission Statement is 'to encourage the study of Australian history, especially the compilation and presentation of authentic records relating to the history of the district around the Woady Yaloak Creek'
